13th week

Pn Fauziah was walking around helping and giving opinion on our work.
It is almost an end to the entire lesson. However, there is one more last week to go. There are of course a few ideas that I can come up with when using the publications in the classroom. Calendars can be used to remind pupils of the due dates and exams (which is a bad thing for them). Banners can be made to tell the parents of special events. Business cards on the other hand, can be used to promote my tuition school in th future (yes!!).

12th week

Frankly, the only enjoyment that I might give in the classroom would be games and treats etc. No videos. Even if there are videos, they will be taken from Youtube. A teacher has to make lesson plans, teaching aids, give tests, correct the test papers, do reports, conduct curriculum activities . Where do I find a slot to produce videos?Teachers are trained for a few years then they are deemed unfit for the current curriculum, like us. We are studying TESL. But, TESL is not going to be used by the time that we graduated from UM.
In e-book,

1) A theme of the story.

2) Setting (time and place)
3) Plot that shows the conflict, climax and resolution
4) Characterization
5) Navigational tools
6) Pictures must be clear cut and colourful.
7) Sound or voice to integrate in the eBook..

11th week

Somehow, after doing all the audio editing works, I feel that the authenticity of songs is lost. Many artists I feel, came up with songs that are really nice to listen to. but, when they do life performances, it sounds like me singing in the shower

10th week

we are given three tasks to do

Task 1: Edit a song into ring tone
Task 2: Blending two songs together
Task 3: Edit the given song into a better quality
By using those editing pictures software, we could apply many features that available in it such as, cropping, adjusting size, removing noise, adding text, adding effect, and many more. I am very lucky to learn all this as I really interested with this skills. I hope, I could expand my skills in editing picture because, I really enjoy myself during doing it. That's all from me for this week, see you!

8th post

About module 3, what's the contents actually? It's all about AUDIO EDITING. Have you heard about AUDACITY, MUSIC EDITOR, KARAOKE ANYTHING, SONY VEGAS? They are part of audio software that we'll need to download in completing this module. Quite interesting. Never used these before (actually didn't even hear about them except audacity. So, this was the chance to explore new things and try using them for our own good.
The next task assigned to us was the lesson plan. We were required to prepare four continuous lesson plans for a particular year. My group have chosen Year 4 as the target group and the topic was about food.
Lastly, we were also required to choose a topic from the syllabus for each year (year 1 to 6) and prepare teaching aids. The teaching aids include both technological and non-technological materials. Since the teaching aids are prepared for young kids, we used colourful and attractive pictures, videos, powerpoint presentations, puppets, task sheets, and big book.
